What is typical pay raise (% or lump sum) once you get your PE license. I most certainly believe there is some type of compensation but I am unsure of how much to ask for. I work for a private consulting company in Florida.

Probably no pay raise at all until it's time for the annual review and it will be taken into account at that time.  In my case, I was expected to become a Licensed Professional Engineer within two years of starting at my most recent job, and there was no pay increase when it came.

I didn't get a pay raise until I became a project manager.

My raise was a modest 10% because until then I was making intern-leve salary. I think the raise was only fair to be par with the other enigineers.
