There are lots of emerging markets that could really use American expertise especially in the engineering sector. I would like to commend your article on bringing this the the attention of complacent American companies who might be oblivious to the changes happening around the world. In such a globally competitive economy, the world would benefit if experts from all over the world participated in projects collectively.

I believe it is a great idea that African nations are pursuing rail more aggressively than they have in the past.
I am a civil engineer based in South Africa and I am impressed by your website showcasing Africa as an upcoming zone for big engineering projects. Africa is surely poised for great things and those who participate now will surely reap the benefits.
As far as rail, I realize that one of the ways to advance the economical situation in Africa is to connect the continent by Railway. Move goods cheaply and reform the border and visa restrictions betwen the African Countries, thus allowing people ang goods to move freely.
